Fascinating Thaitown 2024 is a vibrant and cultural celebration as an associated event program of the Sydney Lunar Festival. As we commemorate the auspicious Year of the Dragon, this event highlights the rich tapestry of Thai culture, cuisine, and traditions.

Date and Location:

Join us on Saturday 17 February 2024 from 11 am to 8 pm at Sydney Thaitown, located in the laneway near the corners of Campbell and George Streets Haymarket NSW 2000.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

Thaitown Lunar Market: from 11 am-8 pm next to Meriton Suites on Campbell Street. Explore the vibrant and bustling market featuring a variety of stalls showcasing Thai handicrafts, souvenirs, food, desserts, and cultural artifacts. Discover unique items and take home a piece of Thailand’s rich heritage.

Cultural Extravaganza: 11.30 am- Opening Ceremony at the Lunar New Year Thai gate located at the start of Thaitown on the corner of Campbell and George Street. Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Thai culture through captivating performances including traditional dance, music, and a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Long Drum Procession: 11.50 am – Join us in the rhythmic and energetic long drum procession parading around Thaitown. Feel the pulse of the drums and be part of this vibrant celebration as we honour the Year of the Dragon.

Thai Beer Garden: From 11.30-8 pm at Cosy Corner Thai restaurant. Relax and unwind in the Singha Beer Garden, offering a delightful selection of authentic Thai beverages and refreshments, located next to the market laneway. Enjoy the lively ambiance music, and DJs and socialize with fellow attendees in this festive setting.

Culinary Delights: Indulge in a gastronomic adventure at participating Thai restaurants around Thaitown, offering an exclusive 10% discount on the day. Delight your taste buds with an array of authentic Thai dishes, from savory curries to tantalizing street food.

How to Get the Discount:

To enjoy the exclusive 10% discount on delectable Thai cuisine at participating restaurants in Thaitown, follow these simple steps:

1.  Download Your Discount Voucher from our official event website www.thaitbc.org – click here to download your discount voucher. The voucher will be available to use for one day on Saturday 17 February 2024.
2. Present Your voucher upon arrival at any participating restaurant in Thaitown, present your downloaded voucher at the time of ordering.
3. Redemption Requirements: Ensure that the voucher is valid on the day of your visit to the restaurant and complies with the terms and conditions outlined below.

Terms & Conditions (T&C):

• Validity and Redemption: The discount voucher is valid only for participating restaurants displaying the Fascinating Thaitown sticker at their shop. The voucher entitles the bearer to a 10% discount off the total food bill (some restaurants may include the drinks) on Saturday, 17th February 2024.
• Non-Transferable: This voucher holds no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with other offers or discounts.
• Agreement to T&C: By using or attempting to use the voucher, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
• Responsibility: Thai TBC holds no responsibility for any failure to receive the discount or complimentary gift due to unforeseen circumstances or for any damage, loss, or injury incurred during the event. However, every effort will be made to ensure participating restaurants honour the discount as agreed.
• Voucher Validity Discretion: Thai TBC reserves the right to discontinue the voucher’s validity without prior notice.
